ALISHA MORENIKE FISHER IS A DESIGN POLYMATH WORKING IN THE INTERSECTIONS OF INNOVATION, WELLNESS, TECHNOLOGY, DESIGN, URBANISM & THE WIDER BUILT ENVIRONMENT.

Alisha is an Innovator, Host, Presenter and Built Environment Specialist with over ten years experience in multiple creative fields. Alisha began her work as an artist, painting. Later, finding enthusiasm in her design and technology classes in her teens and staying stuck in the workshop studios, she became passionate about urbanism, the environment and construction.

Alisha has worked as an Educator for New London Architecture (NLA) to build programmes and workshops for local schools in London. Recognised through her brave and confident work ethic, commitment with communities & the environment, and her achievements in opening doors for youth interested in landscape, urbanism, innovation and construction; Alisha continues to defy belief as a young Black Woman in her industries.

As cities grapple with cascading socio-ecological challenges and burgeoning, more vulnerable populations, architects, landscape designers, and urban planners play a pivotal role in shaping resilient and sustainable urban landscapes. Through interactive sessions, insightful discussions, and hands-on design exercises, we explore cutting-edge strategies encompassing (for example) renewable energy, green infrastructure, nature-based solutions, rewilding, carbon neutrality and drawdown, waste elimination, circular economies, sustainable transportation, social equity, indigenous reconciliation, and community engagement.
